The MOSE (electromechanical experimental module) is a complex engineering work that separates the lagoon of Venice from the Adriatic Sea avoiding inundations during high tide.
The MOSE is formed by four barriers located at the inlets of Venice Lagoon which are generally composed by 78 independent mobile gates, hinged to the seabed on one side and driven by the variation of its buoyancy through the introduction and expulsion of water and air.
For the management of such a complex hydraulic work, a Control Room and an Operations Centre were set up at the Arsenale Nord in Venice, where all the key decisions for the lifting and lowering of mobile barriers are taken.
Professional Show was responsible for the supply of installation and start-up of the multi-display systems inside the TESA 76 at the Venice Arsenale.
The two videowalls consist of LG’s 55" UH5F Series Professional Displays in 3 x 2 configuration. LG’s videowall solution is ideal for creating continuous digital walls without interruption and ensuring an unprecedented level of detail.
The system used to visualize multiple sources on video walls consists of an Dexon matrix with HDBT I/O cards.
This matrix allows a quick and interactive visualization of all the sources provided. In addition, the matrix:
■ manages multiple monitors, local or remote;
■ views real-time video sources of various formats;
■ processes and visualizes HDMI 4K signals in real time;
■ visualizes the desktop image of remote workstations across the network;
■ is expandable;
■ allows arbitrary positioning and overlapping of windows;
■ supports full HDCP for input and output signals;
