The BRC-X1000 is Sony's first 4K remote camera to combine uncompromising broadcast image quality and quiet PTZ operation with the flexibility of 3G-SDI and HDMI connections.
Designed for remote operation, this compact and powerful robotic camera is perfect for pairing with other broadcast cameras in demanding environments or those requiring discrete installations. The ideal choice for broadcast environments, remote studios, television newsrooms, auditoriums, places of worship, courts or sports stadiums. It is also particularly suitable for multi-camera systems under the control of a single operator.
The 1 "Exmor R CMOS image sensor shoots detail-rich 4K movies at 30p with four times the pixel count of Full HD and exceptional low-light sensitivity. The large image sensor also allows for the creation of beautiful bokeh effects, with a shallow depth of field suitable for any art project.
Fast and very quiet PTZ operation with 12x optical zoom is suitable for wide-angle scenes and close-up close-ups, with 18x (4K) and 24x (HD) Clear Image zoom extending the range without visible loss in terms of resolution. In HD resolution, the 24x zoom can be doubled to 48x with Tele-converter mode. Broadcast-supporting features include dual tally lamps for live operation, while options for ceiling, desktop or tripod mounting enhance flexibility.
In addition, the huge choice of video interface and remote control possibilities - alongside PoE + and genlock support - facilitates seamless integration into any professional, corporate or broadcast AV environment.
BRC-X1000 / 1 and BRC-X1000 / WPW are the models for the USA / Canada markets that come bundled with the AC-UES1230MT AC adapter with cable. In all other regions, the AC adapter and power cord are sold separately.
